Congresswoman Debbie Lesko voted for the passage of the FY 2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The bill passed by 351-66. The NDAA provides critical funding and lays out strategic policy direction for our national defense. The NDAA provides resources to rebuild our military and provides for additional aircrafts and ships.


"The number one purpose for Congress is to keep Americans safe and to defend her against our enemies. The NDAA honors the work of our troops by giving them a much-needed pay raise and builds up our military's resources. Luke Air Force Base is essential to our national defense and I am proud to have voted for increased F-35 Joint Strike Fighters and additional flying hours for training," said Lesko.
