Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) released the following statement today after Speaker Pelosi announced an agreement on the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
“President Trump negotiated and signed the USMCA over a year ago. I am pleased to see Speaker Pelosi finally decided to bring forward this important trade deal that is a victory for Arizona and the United States. I have publicly supported this agreement since before I was elected. It is unfortunate that Democrat Leadership chose to waste time on a partisan impeachment while 176,000 new jobs were on the line. Today’s announcement means we are one step closer to getting the USMCA across the finish line. I look forward to voting in support of the USMCA in the House very soon.”
