WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) released the following statement on advanced security procedures in the U.S. House of Representatives:
Lesko complied with all security procedures implemented by U.S. Capitol Police and the Sergeant at Arms, including going through a magnetometer, being wanded by a handheld device, and submitting her handbag for search. She will continue to heed the guidance of U.S. Capitol Police and the Sergeant at Arms in regards to member safety. ### |
