Lesko Stands Up for Freedom of Speech

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) offered an amendment in the House Rules Committee to remove the requirement in the Democrats’ H.R. 1 that would require that people’s personal information be made public if they spend $500 or more on political advertising. This move would put people’s personal security at risk and undermine their freedom of anonymous speech.
