Jessica Roza from the Office of Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) presented Soldier’s Best Friend in Peoria with Arizona’s District 8 Congressional Recognition. Soldier’s Best Friend was founded in 2011 and trains service dogs to help local veterans experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or Traumatic Brain Injuries return to civilian life.

“Soldier’s Best Friend provides service and therapeutic companion dogs to veterans in Arizona at no cost,” said Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08). “Many of the service dogs are often rescued from local shelters. Thank you to the team at Soldier’s Best Friend for all they do to assist veterans in our community!”
