Tonight, Democrats in the House of Representatives voted to impeach President Donald J. Trump. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (R-AZ), member of the House Judiciary and Rules Committees, released the following statement:

“This has been the most unfair, corrupt, politically-biased railroad job in the history of the United States. It is a very sad day for our nation. Not one of the Democrats’ witnesses were able to establish that treason, bribery or high crimes and misdemeanors—as required in the Constitution—were committed. I hope that when this is done, we can actually work together in a bipartisan manner to get real things done for our constituents and our country.”
