Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) released following statement today after voting against the government funding bill.

“Although I appreciate the hard work of my fellow colleagues, today’s funding deal is simply not enough to end the crisis at our border. I could not vote for a funding bill that contains too many burdensome restrictions that may prevent the border fence from even being built, ties the hands of law enforcement and potentially reduces the number of detention beds for criminals who enter our country illegally.”
