WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) was selected by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy as his sole designee on the prestigious GOP Steering Committee. The committee is tasked with assigning Republican members to the various committees of the U.S. House of Representatives for the 117^th Congress.

“It is an honor to be selected by Leader McCarthy for this position and I thank him for the opportunity to serve the House Republican Conference,” said Congresswoman Lesko following the announcement. “We have so many dedicated and talented Republican members of Congress and under Leader McCarthy’s leadership, we have gained even more. I am honored to play a role in selecting these outstanding members for their committee assignments.”
