WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) was elected by her peers to serve as the Region 13 Representative on the House Republican Steering Committee. The Committee determines who will serve as Chairman of the committees and also determines which committees individual Republican members will serve on.

“I am honored be chosen by my colleagues to be their Region 13 Representative on the Steering Committee,” said Congresswoman Lesko following her election. “I was pleased to serve as the Republican Leader Designee last Congress, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve the House Republican Conference on the Steering Committee. I am excited to see so many talented and diverse members in the Republican Conference, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to advance the Republican agenda to get our nation back on track.”

Region 13 consists of Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming. The Steering Committee recommends Republican members for committee assignments and Chairmanships and consists of 30 members.
