SURPRISE, AZ—U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) presented a Congressional Recognition to the Brandon Caserta Foundation, which focuses on providing assistance, guidance, and resources to active duty service members, veterans, and their families to end the suicide epidemic among service members and veterans. The Caserta Foundation was founded by Teri and Patrick Caserta in honor of their son, fallen United States Navy Petty Officer Third Class Brandon Caserta.

“I am honored to present the Brandon Caserta Foundation with a Congressional Recognition,” said Congresswoman Lesko. “The Caserta family has gone above and beyond in their efforts to combat the tragic epidemic of active duty and veteran suicide, including advocating for the Brandon Act, which was signed into law. I am pleased to recognize the Caserta Foundation for providing invaluable assistance to active duty service members, veterans, and their families to ensure they receive the mental health support that they need.”

Congressional Recognitions are presented to residents of Arizona’s 8th Congressional District who are doing exceptional work in the community. If you would like to nominate someone for a Congressional Recognition, click here.
