Press Releases

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) released the following statement on the U.S. House of Representatives’ passage of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act:

“I was proud to cosponsor and vote for the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which provides lifesaving care to babies who survive attempted abortions. With the passage of this bill, House Republicans have proven that we care about the lives of innocent children. I simply do not understand why 210 of my Democrat colleagues voted against this bill. Why would anyone want a baby to be left for dead that was born alive?”
