“I am proud that my resolution opposing President Biden’s decision to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline has passed the House Energy and Commerce Committee,” said Congresswoman Lesko. “Canceling the Keystone XL pipeline was a reckless decision from President Biden that undermined our energy security, failed to reduce emissions, and insulted our ally, Canada. I am grateful to my colleagues for supporting this important resolution to hold President Biden accountable for his irresponsible order, and it is my hope this resolution will be brought to the Floor of the U.S. House of Representatives for a vote soon.”

This resolution expresses that Congress disapproves of President Biden’s January 20, 2021, revocation of the presidential permit for the Keystone XL pipeline.
