WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) spoke on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives to offer an amendment to the Democrats’ H.R. 1 that would remove the requirement that people’s personal information be made public if they spend $500 or more on political advertising. As written, H.R. 1 would eliminate anonymous speech that has been an important part of our political discourse.
