SURPRISE, ARIZONA—U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) presented A Mighty Change of Heart in Waddell, AZ with a Congressional Recognition for their hard work in providing duffel bags filled with essential items for children entering the Arizona foster care system. To date, they have provided duffle bags filled with essential items, including hygiene items, toys, books, clothes, shoes, and more to over 7,000 children across Arizona.

“I am honored to recognize A Mighty Change of Heart for their outstanding work to help the foster children in our community,” said Congresswoman Lesko. “Over 15,500 children—who through no fault of their own—are in foster care across the state of Arizona. Foster children already have so much on their plate and are among the most vulnerable children in our state. A Mighty Change of Heart goes the extra mile to show foster children that they are loved and cared for by their community.”
