SURPRISE, AZ—U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) hosted a virtual event with 8th Congressional District Military Service Academy nominees and their families to celebrate their acceptance and enrollment in the nation’s top Military Service Academies.

“As a member of Congress, one of my greatest honors is nominating young leaders to attend our nation’s Military Service Academies,” said Congresswoman Lesko following the event. “These young men and women are truly the future leaders of our nation, in the military and in communities across the country. I am so impressed by their dedication to service above self at such a young age. I cannot wait to see all they achieve.”

Lesko met virtually with students and their families. Each year, members of Congress nominate students from their districts to the United States’ Military Service Academies, the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Naval Academy – Annapolis, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
