Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) released the following statement today as the sudden and unexplained shutdown of the Sun City West Posse by Maricopa County Sheriff Paul Penzone entered its eighth day. Congresswoman Lesko is also sending staff members to today’s rally scheduled by the Property Owners and Residents Association of Sun City West.

“The Sun City West Posse is a highly valuable asset to the community, and today’s rally demonstrates the strong support of residents of Sun City West behind the Posse. I call on Sheriff Penzone to immediately reinstate the Sun City West Posse or give us an explanation as to why they have been shut down.”
