WASHINGTON, D.C.—U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) introduced a bill to ensure that no federal funds are used for the creation or maintenance of a federal vaccine database. This bill prohibits federal funds from being used to establish, maintain, or support any national database identifying individuals as having received, or not received, a vaccination, including the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Since the beginning of the pandemic and the creation of the COVID-19 vaccine, I have opposed all vaccine mandates and federal vaccine databases. This bill prohibits taxpayer funds from going to establish a federal vaccine database that would identify Americans as vaccinated or unvaccinated,” said Congresswoman Lesko. “The decision to get vaccinated is a personal one, never something that should be mandated or monitored by the federal government.”
