SURPRISE, AZ—U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) presented a Congressional Recognition to retired Lieutenant Colonel Ray Norris for running the Anthem Rotary Ray Norris Youth At-Risk Program in Anthem, AZ which serves homeless teens. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

“It was an honor to recognize Ray Norris for his outstanding service to Arizona communities and our nation,” said Congresswoman Lesko. “Not only has Lieutenant Colonel Norris heroically served our nation, but he has also given back to his community through the Ray Norris Youth At-Risk Program to help homeless teens. Since his program’s inception 14 years ago, Lieutenant Colonel Norris has personally bought basic necessities, assembled them into backpacks, and coordinated their distribution to local schools to help teens in need. He has positively impacted thousands of teens, and we owe him a debt of gratitude.”
